After two decades in the music and entertainment industry Barrie Knight launched his own company on his 40th birthday.
Since then BK40 have been delivering the very best in Security Management, Event Production and Artist Management on home soil and abroad.
BK40′s clients include WWE, Ronan Keating/Boyzone, Dave Gilmore/Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Naomi Campbell, Lucian Grainge, Leona Lewis, X-Factor, Britain’s got Talent, Global Radio, AEG Productions and many more.
Other than security BK40 offer consultancy in Event Productions, Event Promotions and Artists Management. Record and Management Companies often seek the advice of BK40 on a diverse range of industry and event issues.
One event particularly close to Barrie’s heart is The Teenage Cancer Trust, which he has helped run for the last ten years. In 2007 he invited teenagers from hospitals all over the country and entertained them with his music industry superstars.
Such was its success that the event has since been promoted to the main stage in The Royal Albert Hall.
Barrie Knight has also recently launched The KNIGHTS Foundation, a charity which helps educate and motivate young people regardless of age and background. The Foundation is currently planning a tour of UK schools where DJ and Dance Workshops will be made available as part of The Up and Under Club, with special guest appearances from new artistes and top DJs.
